My employer is currently selling Staub French cocottes, skillets, tajines for Moroccan cooking, and other goodies at a nice savings off the usual price (Cooking.com, etc.). Still not cheap, but if you were in the market for nice cast iron or ceramics... pretty colors... ooh shiny... I bought a saffron yellow tajine and it arrived yesterday. Now to find me some recipes...

i moved in january and am now renting a house. i've just started cooking for myself and Tobias on a daily basis. i've always enjoyed cooking though. this post reminds me, i'm about to start a garden. do you have one? if so, what do you grow? i'm thinking about growing some herbs that i can use in my cooking.

Actually, we don't have a garden. Gardening's an ideal I haven't made reality yet. The closest I've gotten is that I have some straggly windowboxes that had herbs in them last summer; and we also grew tomatoes in big pots. Reckon I should clean all that up and start fresh.

I have a compost pile. I kind of have space for a garden (we are condo owners in a two-family house & I guess I'd have to discuss my plans with our co-owners downstairs). I'm just not so good at moving forward with the actual work of it.

Did I ever mention my old blog? www.vegetablog.com. Have fun! (Old picture of me, pre-Weight Watchers.)
